THE BLUSH NEGRONI - JULY 2025

THE HAND AND FLOWERS, MARLOW

This month’s Negroni from The Hand & Flowers in Marlow is a celebration of elegance and vibrancy—a modern twist on the classic that’s as inviting as a riverside afternoon. Crafted by Hayley, who heads up the bar team at Tom Kerridge’s iconic two Michelin-starred pub, The Blush Negroni captures the spirit of spring in the Chilterns: floral, fresh, and beautifully balanced.

Located in the heart of Marlow, The Hand & Flowers has built its reputation on bold, unpretentious flavours and a dedication to quality ingredients. Their approach to cocktails is no different, with each creation reflecting the same care and creativity found in their celebrated kitchen.

THE DRINK

The Blush Negroni is a delicate yet striking take on the Italian classic. Here, fragrant Rose Wine replaces the typical Vermouth, and pairs with the subtle fruitiness of Bone Idyll Pink Gin, while our Asterley Original Aperitivo brings a gentle bitterness and citrus lift. The result is a cocktail that’s light, aromatic, and effortlessly sophisticated—a perfect aperitif to start an evening or a refreshing companion to a leisurely lunch.
