THE HISTORY OF THE WHITE NEGRONI
Introducing The Pink Negroni, based on the White Negroni which was first stirred into existence in 2001 by the late, great British bartender Wayne Collins while working in France.
Designed as a riff on the classic Negroni, this version swaps out the usual suspects—Campari and sweet vermouth—for lighter, more herbaceous counterparts like Suze and Lillet Blanc, creating a cocktail that’s equal parts crisp, bitter, and botanical. It quickly found cult status among bartenders and cocktail lovers looking for something both refreshing and complex.
THE PINK NEGRONI
We’ve reimagined the White Negroni into something fresh, fragrant, and unmistakably ours. Pink grapefruit brings vibrant citrus, rose water adds floral elegance, and our very own Asterley Original Aperitivo and SCHOFIELDS Dry Vermouth ground it all with a distinctly British bitter and dry backbone. The result? A perfectly balanced cocktail that’s as pretty as it is punchy.
This vibrant creation comes courtesy of Joe Schofield, our Creative Director and one of the most acclaimed bartenders in the world. With a resume that spans award-winning bars across the UK, and titles like International Bartender of the Year, Joe’s expertise lies in reinventing the classics with subtlety and style.
