Schofield's Gibson

The Gibson cocktail recipe is a martini's more eccentric sibling: same base, same technique, but finished with a pickled cocktail onion rather than an olive or lemon twist. Schofield's English Dry Vermouth brings a savoury, mineral quality that works particularly well against the brine of the garnish.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml London dry gin
  • 20 ml Schofield's English Dry Vermouth
  • 1 dash dry vermouth (optional extra)
  • Pickled cocktail onion (garnish)

Method

Step 1: Stir

Add gin and Schofield's to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until thoroughly chilled.
