A vibrant ruby-red Britannica Negroni Sbagliato in a wine glass with prosecco bubbles and orange slice

Britannica Negroni Sbagliato

A Sbagliato is already one of the most approachable drinks in the Negroni family, and adding Britannica turns it into something genuinely unexpected. Part of our Negroni Week Special collection, this is the one to start the evening with. It's quick to build, low on effort, and surprisingly sophisticated for a three-ingredient drink with bubbles.

Britannica's menthol and eucalyptus character cuts through the sweetness of the aperitivo and lifts the prosecco into something more interesting than a standard Sbagliato. Think of it as a palate wake-up call.

Ingredients

  • 20 ml Britannica London Fernet
  • 25 ml bitter aperitivo
  • 60 ml prosecco
  • Orange slice (garnish)

Method

Step 1: Build

Pour Britannica and bitter aperitivo into a large wine glass or tumbler filled with ice.

Step 2: Top

Top with cold prosecco and give it one gentle stir to combine without losing the fizz.

Step 3: Garnish

Drop in an orange slice and serve immediately.

Tasting Notes

Bright bitter orange on the nose from the aperitivo, with Britannica's cool menthol cutting in on the palate. The prosecco keeps everything light and effervescent, with a dry, herbal finish that makes you reach for another sip.
